Image upload failure
-
I’m getting this error message when trying to upload a new image to one of my pages. What’s strange is that I am able to upload the same image to other pages on my site.
Post-processing of the image failed likely because the server is busy or does not have enough resources. Uploading a smaller image may help. Suggested maximum size is 2500 pixels.
The image size is 1350 x 650 pixels. Ane advice appreciated!

What is the URL of the site you are trying to upload to? We’ll be happy to take a look and see if we can help.

If the site is hosted with us, we can see if even though it’s not launched yet. However, if you’re talking about wellandgoodcopy.com, I’m afraid that your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Bluehost.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, we can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com here:
https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/You can look for help at the community forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
http://wordpress.org/support/ is also a great resource for sites using the open-source WordPress.org software.

Hi! Thanks for your reply, that’s actually very helpful. I did not realize I was being hosted by WordPress.org and not WordPress.com. In future I’ll use the .org help forums.
In terms of this issue, funny enough it resolved itself. This afternoon I went in and tried to upload the image again and it just worked. It must have been a bug of some kind.
Thank you for your help!
