Image Upload Problems

  Hello,

  I am having a upload problem. I am trying to fix an inherited site, and am not very familiar with wordpress

  I am using WordPress 3.5.2

  This stems around the following message

  “Image data does not exist. Please re-upload the image”

  I have uploaded many images less that 1MB are fine and things work as expected. anything over 1MB the images upload properly but the script wp-admin/media-new.php does not complete I am left with a blank page.

  I have read posts about increasing the memory for the site, I have adjusted to 256M with no change in behaviour.

  Not sure where to go from here…Thanks
