Image Uploading problems… Yes I know I’m Not The Only one

Yes I know other people have posted but there seems to be no answer, so I am going to post myself.
I click on “add an image”, then choose files to upload. I pick the image I have cropped previously on Adobe Photoshop then open. It says crunching then I get the picture with options of caption, decription, link url, alignment and size.
All I do is click on size then “insert in post”. Screen goes white and it says done but with errors in the bottom left hand corner.
I have contacted wordpress but all they did is send the link for the old layout of wordpress which has the send to editor option!
Are they completely retarded?! You ask them a question and all they do is send you the link for an option that does not exist!
Please someone give me some help!!!

Firefox is working better than IE at the moment, so if you have both use FF. And as I have posted in other threads, if “insert” does not work, just grab the URL of the image and put it in via the Image Icon, the tree. Works just fine although it’s not elegant.

i have also been unable to “insert into post” after I upload my image and click on insert into post, the window goes completely black. I have tried several different images, all small files. I am using Firefox…there must be a bug…

after looking around the FAQ and forums some more, i noticed it mentioned to upgrade your flash. I did and it finally worked for me.
