Image/Caption Box in Modularity Lite.
-
When I add an image to my post in the editor, there is a grey box around the image and caption, but when it goes into the post, there is no box. This wouldn’t be a big deal, except I also can’t figure out how to change the font characteristics of the caption, so it appears as if my caption is the first line of my post when the image is at the top of the page. How can I get the box around the image to create separation?

It’s every post since I started the blog. No photo has ever shown up on the blog with the same border/background that appears behind and around it in the editor screen.

Your theme doesn’t carry an Editor Style, so what you see in the Editor won’t exactly be what you see in the theme.
Actually, what you have there is really the best you can get with Modularity. It really doesn’t have any sort of distinct caption styling.

That seems insanely counterintuitive. Modularity is clearly designed as a photo-showcase theme, yet leaves you completely unable to adequately display photo content. I guess I’ll have to find a new theme. This has been bugging me since I set the blog up two years ago.
