Some of my viewers can’t see all the images on my blog. Others can.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
It looks like there was a glitch when you changed your blog address, and not all of the images on the blog were updated to use the new address. Sorry about that! I let our developers know about the issue so they can fix that for you, and I’ll let you know once I have more information from them about it.

Wow! Thanks so much. I’m a newbie and I was worried I would get advice on how to fix it myself. No idea….
Since you offer, I do have another question….clicking on my screen name takes me (or anyone) to a blog I never started. I don’t know how to link it to http://www.awordplease.org.

Sure thing! So when you leave a comment, your name will be linked to the Web Address listed in your account settings here:
https://wordpress.com/settings/account/
However, if you update that web address, it won’t change the link on any comments you made before the update. (I see that your web address in your settings is currently http://www.awordplease.org so any new comments will link there.)
You can update the link on your comments on your blog by going to the Comments section in your blog’s dashboard here:
https://1wordplease.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit-comments.php
If you hover over your comments on that page, you’ll see an “Edit” link pop up. You can click on that link to edit your comments and put in the right web address. We have more details about that here: Manage Comments

I am trying to add the Facebook like button in the Widgets (this page: https://www.facebook.com/awordplease.org)
WordPress says my url is misconfigured. I assumed the above address is my url- I’ve spent an hour on FB trying to figure this out. Any suggestions?

The note about your Facebook URL being misconfigured is actually referring to the Facebook Page URL in the widget settings. (Sorry if that was confusing!) I checked your widget, and I didn’t see any URL there. Can you try entering https://www.facebook.com/awordplease.org under “Facebook Page URL” in the widget settings? Be sure to click the Save button when you’re done.
If that doesn’t work, let me know and I’ll take another look at it!

Hm, I’m not sure why that wasn’t working for you. I just entered the URL https://www.facebook.com/awordplease.org in the widget for you, and it looks like it saved. I also see the Facebook like box showing up on the front page. If you have any further trouble with that widget, please let me know!
I added mobile devices but images do not show up on a mobile.
Sorry about that. Our developers haven’t been able to fix the glitch I mentioned earlier that’s causing problems for the images on your blog. However, they’re aware of the issue and I’ll let you know as soon as I have an update from them about it.

Good news! Our developers sorted out the issue with your blog’s images, so they should all be working now. If you still see broken images on the blog, you may need to refresh your browser or clear your browser’s cache.

Hi, I’m working on a post today. I finish with a poem, and then a question, “What have you learned from good women?”
On the draft, the question appears a few spaces below the poem, but when I PREVIEW, it appears directly under the poem, almost like the last line.

The Visual Editor that you use to write posts will strip out extra line breaks by default, which is why the post looks different when you preview it.
To get those extra line breaks to stay in your post, you can switch to the Text Editor and use one of the tips on this page to add those line breaks:

When I go to “edit”, it seems the entire format has changed. Fine, roll with the punches, be young. But I can no longer see word count, and where there used to be a way for me to send a link to a friend for proofreading prior to publishing, there isn’t now.
I did just get a new mac. I can’t imagine that’s it.

The new editor you’re seeing is one that we introduced recently, and we’re continuing to work on improvements. But you’re right that some of the features in the classic editor (like the word count and writing helper) aren’t in the new editor at this stage. You can get back to the classic editor by heading to your site’s dashboard, using the “Dashboard” link on your My Sites page or this direct link:

You can view and edit all of your existing posts in the Posts section there, or head to Posts > Add New to create a new one. Please let me know if you have any questions about that — and I’ll let our team know about the features you’re missing in the new editor! :)

It isn’t possible to install plugins (like the Disqus plugin) on sites hosted here at WordPress.com, for security reasons. All WordPress.com sites use our built-in comment system: Comments
