images and gallery

  Can you insert multiple images into a post at the same time? I have about 200 images from a vacation I want to post. Also what is the difference between the gallery and the library? I am a long time blogger but new to wordpress. There is so much it gets confusing but I am going to keep working at it.

  You can insert them all at once via a gallery: http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/

  A gallery is a collection of images in a post or page, while your Library is the collection of all media files on your blog, accessible only through your Dashboard.

  I added multiple pictures but they are thumbnails. I want full size pictures and I want to be able to type in-between each picture. Possible? Thanks Jackie

  By default, Galleries are thumbnails, but you can adjust the gallery shortcode in the HTML editor tab and add a size choice: http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/#gallery-shortcode

  Either the full or large size will give you what you need.

  Now, if you want to type in-between the photos, you will need to insert each one individually (with a gallery).
