Images from deleted blog still found in Google (removal request denied)
-
I accidentally uploaded classified images to my blog. After permanently deleting the images, closing the blog, and requesting a removal from Google, I got the following response from them: “Your request has been denied because the webmaster of the site hasn’t applied the appropriate robots.txt file or meta tags to block us from indexing or archiving this page. Please work with the webmaster of this site or select an alternate removal option from the webpage removal request tool.”
Since the blogs have been deleted, I have no option of changing my blog privacy settings. I need to prevent any image from hll2113.wordpress.com; and hlimg.wordpress.com from appearing in the image search from Google. I can loose my job because of this.
Help!

You will need to work it out with Google. And Yahoo. And Bing. And any other search engine that has a cached image. If it’s any consolation, they usually delete them about six months after them going offline.
