Images get automatically resized

WordPress automatically resizes all images.
It sets width to 750

and replaces the original jpg

with this resized one.

Why does this happen and how do I stop it?

This is Jetpacks image CDN at work, which helps to keep loading fast. The image URL you’re seeing there, is a link to the image served via our Content Distribution Network.
This can be deactivated here: https://sprechenundauftreten.ch/wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack#/performance > deactivate “Enable website accelerator”.
