Is anybody using the Sunspot theme? Have you noticed that some images have increased in size, and if so, were you able to rectify the problem in bulk?

Hi! I haven’t noticed the image size issue on my site, but I’m facing a different image-related problem after updating my content.
I run a menu website (popeyes menu info) and recently updated the image names and alt text for many images. However, when I inspect the pages, some images show the updated alt text while others still seem to have the old values.
Is there an easy way to check or audit all image alt text in bulk? I’m looking for a method or plugin that can scan the whole site and show which images are missing or have outdated alt text, instead of checking every page manually.
If anyone has dealt with this before, I’d really appreciate your advice. Thanks!

@staartmees: With all due respect, how my site looks to yourself is not the issue here, and in no way does your response answer the question I stated. As I created my site, I obviously am the one that has noticed the changes. Therefore, me telling you which pages it affects won’t offer any solution. Certain images have changed size from what they originally were. Only I could notice that, not you or anybody else. I was just informed by WordPress that certain themes have had automatic updates on them. This has caused certain alterations to size and image formatting. Therein lies the problem it has caused me.

@hellozaheer12: Hi. I haven’t had that issue my self, but there may be a solution. From what WordPress informed me, if you are using paid plans you can insert a plugin called ‘wprollback’. It’s free to download, and will allow you to go back to previous versions of the theme you use. Doing that may hopefully resolve your issue. If you are using a free plan you cannot upload plugins.

I’m on a self-hosted WordPress site, so I can install plugins. I’ll give WP Rollback a try and also check whether the issue is related to a recent theme update or image caching. Hopefully that helps identify why some image alt text changes are showing while others aren’t.
Your explanation about recent theme updates affecting image formatting is also useful. It reminds me that updates can sometimes change how images are displayed even when the image files themselves haven’t changed.
I’ll report back here if I find a reliable way to audit or refresh image metadata in bulk, as it might help others facing similar issues. Thanks again!
