Images have suddenly stopped displaying on my blog

  I’m not sure why but all of the images on my blog have stopped working, and instead it displays a bunch of empty boxes. They were all working before, but all of a sudden they’ve stopped, and I didn’t change them. I have recently changed my blog address, and so I thought it was a hyperlink issue, but I’ve checked all the images and they have the new url. A handful of old images and all of the newer ones I have uploaded work fine. How do I go about correcting all the broken images?

  Hmmm, I am seeing images in your blog posts. For example:

  Can you show me a specific location where you are seeing the broken boxes? I am seeing a couple in the footer, is that what you are referring to?

  Images in the footer won’t load, and neither will any of the images in the sidebar on the blog page.

  I’ve tried bringing up the page on different computers and browsers just in case, but they still won’t load.

  Okay, so if the issue is just the sidebar and footers, it is probably related to your namechange. Post/page HTML is changed to reflect your new name. But because sidebar and footer widgets are set up manually, then need to be changed manually.

  If you head into your widgets and update any instance of your old site name to your new site name, it should fix the issue.
