Images in media section are broken

  Good afternoon,
  I have been working on our company website (www.panamaenglishserviceproviders.com) and was in the midst of examining the different themes to change to, when I noticed that almost all of the images in my Media admin area are showing up as broken. They are showing on the site I can’t edit them or see them. This must have just happened recently as I have been uploading images and creating listings to update our site.
  Do you know how to fix this or guide me in fixing this error? I am not well versed in the coding or anything so my abilities in that sense are limited.

  Hi Mac,

  The site at http://www.panamaenglishserviceproviders.com is a self-hosted WordPress site (not hosted here at WordPress.com) so the WordPress.com support staff don’t have the tools or access to troubleshoot that issue for you.

  If you noticed this issue while changing themes on the website, you may want to contact the author of the theme you were looking at to see if it could be related to the theme you were trying out.

  You can also search or post to the WordPress.org forums for more help troubleshooting the issue on that self-hosted WordPress site. For example, I searched and found one possible reason behind this kind of problem:

  Good morning,
  Unfortunately that didn’t help. The link sent said to blank the media paths in the Settings – Media area… unfortunately my version of WP admin doesn’t have those paths displayed for editing… Only image and thumbnail sizes.

  I have consulted with the hosting company’s tech support but referred me back to WP support. They reset permissions for the uploads file which did not resolve the issues.

  Do you or anyone have any recommendations or solutions to try? I have disabled all plugins and was only previewing themes, never activated a new theme. So the original theme is still running. No major updates other than the WordPress 4.2.2 update.

  Any help would be wonderful.

  You’ll need to post in the WordPress.org forums for further help with that site. Since it isn’t hosted at WordPress.com, I don’t have any other tools or advice for resolving that issue.
