Images not visible on old notes

Hello
I try to find a solution to my problem of missing photos of my archives.
Indeed my articles dating from more than two years no longer display any photos. The migration of blogs-de-voyage to WordPress went smoothly because the articles were full. But for a few months the articles are blank of images.
Thank you for finding a solution to this big problem because it represents a significant amount of work. I tried through the forum francophone to have help, without result.

Hi there,
The logs of the site, http://flanerieenasie.wordpress.com/, shows that a large number of images were deleted by your username over the past few months. If you delete an image from the media library, it will also disappear from any post where it was added. It is not possible to restore deleted media files.

Thank you for your reply but no photo has been deleted from the image library. But they do not appear to be attached to the notes

The image links in those posts reference a site, flanerieenasie2.blogs-de-voyage.fr, which is a self-hosted site. Did you import your content from that site? When did you do this import?
Some of the images are in your library, even though the link is wrong, so we should be able to fix that by just pointing the link to the media library instead of the other site.
But some of the images are not in the library, and they aren’t showing on the self-hosted site either. For those images there is nothing we can do, as the files don’t appear to exist any more.
Please confirm regarding the import, and then I can see what we’re able to do.

Yes the pictures have been imported from the previous site http://flanerieenasie2.blogs-de-voyage.fr/. The import was carried out at the end of 2015 when Expedia asked us to migrate this one to another host. The migration went well but a few months after the photos disappeared. Thank you for your help you give me hope.

Okay. I’ll ask a developer to try and fix the links for the images that did import, but for the images that didn’t import, and that don’t appear on the other site either, we won’t be able to do anything, as I said above.

We’ve fixed all the images that were possible to fix, so those that were imported to your site’s library, but still had the wrong links in the posts.
The images that are still missing are those that did not import, and that aren’t showing on the old site either. Those you will need to replace manually, if you still have them on your computer.

To import the images, we need a link to where the specific image is currently stored. The broken images on your site all point to http://flanerieenasie2.blogs-de-voyage.fr/, but the images are not on that site. We can’t fetch images from http://flanerieenasie.blogs-de-voyage.fr/ or http://nepalkathmanduetsavallee.blogs-de-voyage.fr/, because http://flanerieenasie.wordpress.com/ does not have any links that point to those sites. So we have no way to find the correct images on those sites.
Besides, it looks like the images are broken on those sites as well:
As I said from the start, those images that are also missing from http://flanerieenasie2.blogs-de-voyage.fr/ cannot be imported. It’s just not possible.

What I do not understand is that all the photos were imported into the image library and during the migration they appeared well on the webblog. I do not know what happened at WordPress or Expedia but obviously they had a problem. I am very sad because it is a big part of my life and it is unacceptable to see everything disappear overnight. There is really no hope? If you want I can give you my username and password if this can help you

The 403 error you see when you click on the links for those images mean the images don’t exist at those links. They might still be on a server at Expedia, but without having the correct links for them, there is no way we can access them and import them here. So there really is nothing more we can do in this case.
