Images upside down when viewed on iphone

  I upload pictures from apple photos that are rotated correctly and then when downloaded into wordpress they are upside down or sideways. I go through and thoroughly save and edit each image. I post them and they look correct on the computer, but when I look at my blog on my iphone its still side ways or upside down. If I were to post the pictures unedited in wordpress they would appear right side up on the iphone but crooked on the computer. So annoying! Whats going on?
