  Hello! I started to import content from an other wordpress blog (masni.cafeblog.hu), and it is still importing. I uploaded the export xml file yesterday, can you please check how long it will take. Or this there any problem with my xml file? Thank you. Kind regards Diana

  Hello, I’m really thankfull for your help! I re-uploaded the xml file, and started the export. Untill now nothing new. How long takes it usually (the blog had approx 800 entries with pictures. The xml file was 16,9 MB. Can you check, if everything runs ok now? Thank you! Diana

  Hi there,

  Yes, the importer usually gets stuck when you try to import a XML file over 15mb. You’ll need to create several smaller XML files in order to get them over successfully. You can do that by selecting smaller sizes based on post dates, pages, feedback, or even media.

  Hello! Thanks, I separeted the files now, and started the import again. The first file is uploaded and imported, I am on the way with the second. Thank you again for your help!
