  I tried to import my WordPress.org site to WordPress.com. It still says importing after 4 days. How can I cancel the import

  I have added the modlook tag to ask if a member of staff could reset your importer. Note that your .xml file needs to be smaller than 15MB: https://en.support.wordpress.com/import/

  Hi @bobjae, I have stopped the import, which had failed.

  If you can, I would suggest exporting by date range to get two files of smaller size, around 6mb each.

  Alternately you can again try and import the file you have again and let us know once you have begun that process and we can look to make sure it is proceeding.

  Also, make sure on the other site that all spam comments have been deleted, and look for any posts and pages in the trash that need to be permanently deleted. Basically get the site as clean as possible before exporting.

  I think that my import hung up again as its been several hours.

  I’ve reset the importer again.

  Please try exporting by date range instead as @thesacredpath suggested above so you have several smaller files to import instead of one big one, then we can see if that makes any difference.
