Import from Blogger

  Hello! I have tried twice to import my blog from blogger to my new blog on WordPress. I am able to import the file but when it tries to complete it states there is an error. I don’t know if it is the file but it is a XML file. Thank you! Kristina

  Hi there,

  It appears you’re trying to import a Blogger template file, rather than a content backup. Both are XML files, but the template file cannot be imported here.

  Please Google’s instructions linked at https://en.support.wordpress.com/coming-from-blogger/ and make sure you’re exporting the correct file on their end.
