Import not working

  I am not able to import from blogger to my wordpress. Everytime I click on the import link I get the following error:
  This page isn’t working
  storiesbysoumya.com is currently unable to handle this request.
  HTTP ERROR 500

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Before importing your content over, did you export your Blogger blog into a .xml file as per the instructions here?:

  Import from Blogger

  I did. I have the xml file on my laptop. But it does not even ask me to upload the file, just gives me the error.

  The fact that the site may have been built using WordPress, or may mention ‘Powered by WordPress’ (or something similar) simply means it is using the WordPress.org software, which can be downloaded and installed on any web host.
