import not working
-
Trying to upload, but the import page says ‘Importing content from:’ and then nothing else. There’s just nothing else there, nothing to do or interact with.

Hi there,
Can you please let me know your site’s address so I can point you in the right direction of getting support?

Hello, thank you.
https://twentyfourwild.wordpress.com/
Inside the import content option under tools I chose WordPress and am then presented with this option …
“If you already have a WordPress export file, you can upload it to import content.”
When I click the link “upload it to import content” it takes me to essentially a blank page. It’s the same normal interface but the top says “Import Content” and below it “Importing content from:” and then there is just nothing. No options, nothing to interact with. What do you do with this? There are simply no actions to take.

I have reset the importer on your site. Please clear your browser’s cache and then start the import again.

Ok, I got this to work, thank you, and I imported my entire site to wordpress.com. I mapped the proper domain, and it looks to be working, but now in the wordpress.com admin it’s asking for server credentials and saying I need to check with my hosting provider. WordPress.com is the hosting provider now, no? Not really sure what I’m looking at with this. I appreciate you getting back to me.
I was originally using the twentyfourwild.wordpress.com account to test, but now I’m working in the account thekingstonatx.wordpress.com.
