  I was trying to import a WordPress file, and the import has been stuck for the past week. Can someone help me fix this?

  Hi there,

  I’ve reset the importer on your site.

  I see the file you’re trying to import is just under our 15MB limit, which might be what’s causing the problem. From which site are you exporting? Perhaps try exporting content for only a few months at a time instead so you have several smaller files to import.

  Thank you. I am exporting from a wordpress.org website. Should I keep the file size to 5MB?

  I have them importing in with smaller sizes now. Thanks for the help on this. I do have another question. Although you reset the importer, it still shows as importing on the main site. Under the WordPress section, it still shows the circle cycling around and the “Importing” button is not available. I have to click “Other Importers” and click on WordPress there. Is there something else I can do about that?

  I don’t see an active import on your site at the moment. If you still see that on the import page, it might be a browser issue. Try refreshing with Cmd-R, and if that doesn’t work, clear the browser cache completely, then you should be able to continue importing.
