Import "processing"

  import tool says processing after confirmation e-mail has been received from WP, dashboard will not let me continue importing.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  the reason why the blog is empty is i deleted the posts after everything was done processing to see if i would be able to re-import the file again, if anything was changed. nothing was different, it still won’t allow import.

  No to worry. Sometimes the importer gets stuck and Staff have to reset it. I tagged this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.

  I just took a look and there doesn’t seem to be a stalled job in the WordPress importer. Which of the importers listed here were you using:

  the xanga importer. i was importing the xml files downloaded from xanga one at a time. after two successful imports it got stuck on “processing” even though i had received two successful import e-mails.

  Thanks! I don’t see a stalled import there either. Do you still see the processing message?
