Import says successful, but site is empty

  Hello,

  I’m working on a project (2nd time on this particular one). I previously imported a WordPress.com export xml file that imported everything but the images (a couple of months ago).

  Yesterday I started over, deleted the existing content, and tried to import again. Each time I try, I get an email saying that the import was successful, but when I visit the site, it’s empty and says “Nothing Found”. I’ve tried 3 times with the same results each time.

  Is it possible that the imported for this account needs to be reset?

  Hi there,

  Please check all of your trashed posts, and be sure to permanently delete any posts with the same titles as posts you want to re-import. The importer checks your existing posts (even posts in the trash) and skips those posts to avoid importing duplicates.

  Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)
