Import Still Running after more than 48 hours

Import not complete after more than several days. I imported an XML file from another WordPress blog that we are retiring and it still says it is processing. It is not a large file (62 posts and not media intensive).
Please advise ASAP as to how I can get this import to complete. Thank you.

I have reset your importer. Please feel free to try again.
The importer will only import posts that have not yet been imported. It won’t duplicated anything.

Thank you – when I initiate it again – I get to the screen, choose a user to assign posts to, and then I just see a blank screen. No confirmation, no “in progress”, nothing. Then I go back to import and it is like nothing ever happened.
I am importing using an XML file from another WordPress.com blog.
Please advise…trying to get this up and running.

I am using Firefox 11.0 on a PC. Thanks in advance for your help – need to get things imported and ready for launch no later than Mon/Tue.

Do you also encounter this issue in a different browser? for example Google Chrome?
Otherwise send us the import file through this e-mail address, and let us know (in this thread) once you did.

Yes if I use IE 8 I am still in hang time – it just says it is processing. For weeks now. Very productive.
I just sent you the XML file via email. Please advise as to how soon I can see this content in there and start working again.
Should I expect this problem ongoing? I rarely work on wordpress.com blogs (MUCH prefer self-hosted) but occasionally I get one of these and for slmsustainable I will be managing it ongoing.
Please let me know.
