import xml translation

    we tried importing a .xml translation into wordpress but we get failed to import errors
    upon uploading the translations, the format of translations are messed up and I get 404 errors

    we fix it by
    Re-arrange translated menus and remove duplicated English menus.
    Check each post/pages and re-link to it’s correct post/page

    Is there a way you can help us prevent this from happening again? We still have 4 more languages to import to its designated sites and we don’t want to run into the same issue again

    Hi there, Are you trying to import the content per languages all into the same site, or into separate sites?

    Where are the export files coming from? Are they WordPress sites, or some other platform, and if you could, check the file size for each. We have a 15MB limit, but things can sometimes get cranky if the files are near that size, so I typically suggest 10MB or less. Sometimes this may require breaking the exports into smaller chunks by date or some other way.
