Importing content to a blog page

    I want to import content from an old blog to my new one, but the blog is a secondary page. I don’t want the content imported to my home page, but that’s what the importer seems to be leading me toward. I don’t see an option to choose where the content goes.

    Hi @lanceburri, I’d recommend putting all of the secondary site’s posts in a single category to start, before you even export. Then when you import they’ll be easier to organize.

    That said, the site you listed really doesn’t have anything on its front page, or any of its own posts that I can see. Do you just want to set up a static page? If so, start here and pick a template you like:

    Edit it, make whatever changes you need, then publish it and follow these steps:
    https://wordpress.com/support/pages/front-page/
