importing date from bluehost-hosted wordpress.org site.

    Hello, I would like to upload a zip file from my previous site, to my new site which contains all of my old blog posts, pictures, pages etc. i tried to upload by choosing this option: ‘If you already have a WordPress export file, you can upload it to import content.’ but the upload didn’t work with my zip file. can you please provide directions for how to upload my data to the new site? basically, I am going from a paid site to a free site and want to transfer everything over. thank you!

    Hi there,

    Is your site still online at Bluehost? If so what is the URL of the site so we can take a closer look at what you have there? Are you trying to move an *exact copy* of your Bluehost site, or just trying to import some content (pages, blog posts, uploaded media) but otherwise planning on a fresh start with a new theme here?
