Importing Difficulties

  I was trying to import a tumblr blog to a WordPress blog, not my main one. I wanted to import it to a side one, so I could back it up, but somehow it started doing it on my main one. I tried stopping it, but it won’t stop. I’ve tried disconnecting wordpress from tumblr, I’ve tried deleting the wordpress connection from tumblr, but it won’t stop uploading those posts to my main blog. Why won’t it stop, and what can I do to fix it?

  Hi @reviewsbyabibliophile, sorry for that. We don’t have a stop import feature.

  Which site were you trying to import into?

  Hi,
  I was trying to just put it in a different site, but I no longer want to import at all. Normally, I would’ve just waited and deleted all of the posts, but the tumblr blog is fairly old, and has nearly 14,000 posts.

  Yes, actually! I emailed support as well as posting to this forum, and they stopped the import. Everything is good now, thankfully. Thank you!
