Importing from Typepad

    I’m trying to import my blog from Typed, but am having trouble find the correct procedure. I have exported my blog as a .txt file and it is stored on my computer. Where do I go from here. Plus, the filed does not come with photos. Anyway to transfer those over? Thanks.

    I presume you followed the Typepad instructions:+

    Log into Typepad and go to the Blogs > Settings > Import/Export.
    Click on Export. Typepad begins creating your export file. A progress bar displays.
    When the export is finished, Typepad will display a download link. Click the link. The export file will display in your browser.
    Save the export file somewhere you’ll remember with an obvious filename.

    PS: Note that images aren’t transferred unless you have a paid Typepad plan when their staff would assist you.
