Add topic to favorites
I found all my old XML files from Xanga, and decided to import. It’s saying the importing is finished but I am only seeing a couple posts

OK, when I pull up the view blogs on the ‘non published’ page I can’t see them, however, when I go to dashboard and posts, they are there. Maybe once I publish I’ll see them

Ok, I think I’m getting it. Is there a way to just have a link to the posts by years. Like Blogger does, you can click on a year and be taken to those posts. BTW, thank you for your help!

Yes, for that then leave the posts page unselected, and create a new page that includes the Archives block: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/archives-block/

That was easy. Now, hopefully, the archives I am uploading update. It seems to be stuck and not loading anymore.

On my dashboard, when I go to ‘posts’ it is still saying 401. I’m wondering if some of the archives are duplicates.

I’m not seeing any duplicates offhand, and the importer is designed to avoid duplicates.

Were you expecting less posts to be imported?

Not sure if you can see my import file names. I am importing them in order, the last import I did work and took me to 2006, I am apparently missing 2007, which would be import file 10, but I’ll pause for now, maybe they’re all just processing.

Hm, now there are 501 posts going back to 2006.

I see you’ve triggered the importer again. It won’t duplicate any content, but it may find what it missed, and it can take up to 24 hours to complete.

Aw, I wonder if 2007 is just processing. I’ll give it some time. I don’t want to launch until they are all there. Then I’ll send the site out and make it premium. Thanks for all your help!!!!!
