Importing website from another host

    Hi, I’m a total rookie to web design but am up for the challenge! We already have a website on another platform which I would like to move to wordpress and update, but I obviously don’t want to loose access to the current website until I can publish the wordpress one. I would like to keep the same domain name. Is this possible or will the website show as being ‘down’ while I work on it? Thanks

    You certainly can get your site set up here before switching your domain over!

    When you sign up for a new site, we give you a free subdomain (*.wordpress.com) that you can use to start building your new site.
