Importing wp blog posts

  How do I import blog posts from another wordpress blog? I’ve unzipped the file with posts in them however I don’t see any ‘import’ option.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there, have you seen our guide to moving your site to WordPressdotcom?

  The short answer is you import your XML/WXR file and that will draw in your posts, pages, comments, feedback, and any attached Media files too, as long as your standalone WordPress site is still online. The things that won’t come over are plugins, any scripts, your theme or any customizations to your theme.
