Incorrect URL linked to blog within WordPress.com subscriptions
-
I have a WordPress.org site connected to WordPress.com via Jetpack. A few years ago, I changed the URL of the site. I continued maintaining the old domain for some time, but have subsequently let it lapse, and somebody else owns it now. When users search the name of my site in their WordPress subscriptions (after filling in the email subscription form on the current site), it contains the old URL, and attempts to subscribe them to something else entirely. I can find nowhere within WordPress or Jetpack settings to prevent this from happening.
WP.com: Yes
Jetpack: Yes
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

On further examination, the problem seems to be the feed that WordPress.com associates with the blog. When anybody tries to follow the feed using WordPress Reader, or via emails linked to WordPress.com accounts, it pulls the wrong feed URL, linking to a different site, and therefore shows no new posts from my site. I can find nowhere in my settings where I can change this, as everything at my end is correct.

Hi there!
I see that you have an open ticket with Jetpack support. I’ll close this thread to avoid duplicate efforts. Please keep an eye on your inbox.
Thanks!
