  I want to know how to make a page linked to the main menu item on my index page. So like a homepage for my index.

  I’m afraid I don’t quite follow what you’re asking.

  What’s the URL of the site you’re working on, and can you give a bit more detail about what you’re trying to do?

  followingyourgut.com but it isn’t published yet.

  To explain further – I have a recipe index and a general chat index on my main menu with drop down options. The only way to get to those indexes is by clicking on a drop down menu item. I would like to be able to link directly to the whole index just by clicking on the main menu item.

  Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Bluehost.
