    Hello, on the landing page of my website there’s a date at the top, however, when I go to edit that part of the landing page the date does not show, can anyone please advise me how to get rid of it? this site is for a school project and it needs to spot on all levels, I’ve been trying to figure this out to no avail, thank you!

    Hi there,

    By default your WordPress site will show the “blog feed” as your “homepage” and within that feed, individual posts will display a date based on when the blog post was published.

    However, it sounds like what you want to do is instead set up a standard (static) homepage, rather than offer a feed of blog posts. Standard pages do not display a date of any kind.
