Information on the personal plan for WordPress

  Hi,

  I am testing wordpress and I was wondering how much control over the CSS does the personal plan give you? Could you give examples of what we can or cannot change on the pages. So if for instance I wanted to change the background white colour to an image and change the width of the text area, remove the footer etc, could I do that? If I wanted to change the footer height and where the text goes for instance?
