inserting a document

  I would like to insert my resume as its own page on my domain, however it never actually pops up in the document form I would like it to appear in. Each time I’ve tried it links a pdf or dox that you have to click on to view my resume, but for easier accessibility, I would prefer it show up on its own without a button to click. Nonetheless, the page looks empty and unprofessional if I were to keep it this way, so I hope there is a solution!

  Hi –

  Yes, I agree that the resume presented that way is awkward. Part of the appearance, like the fact that it’s on the left side of the screen is dictated by your theme.

  A better approach would be to add the resume information on to the page directly instead of adding the pdf as you previously did.

  Click on My Sites – Pages – Resume – Edit

  Having the resume directly on the that page is also going to help it get indexed in search engines because it’s built in to the site rather than a linked image.
