Inserting post manually

  Hi,
  I want to uploading over 1 hundred thousands posts into my wordpress blog, I have good php knowledge but however i don’t know much about wordpress programming. What exactly I want to do is to create a php page which will query my tables and fetch title, description, category, tags, date and I would like to insert them into wordpress.

  Any hint how can I accomplish this?

  No, the software here is a highly modified multi-user version and there are a lot of restrictions on what we can do here. We have no access to the underlying wordpress or theme files since it is a multi-user platform and any change made by one person would effect all others using that theme, and no way to create custom DB queries.
