Inserting posts in columns

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hello
Hoping you can help as I am trying to do this the simplest way I can because I don’t know how to code.
I am trying to insert content into columns. This content is basically a ‘post’ I have created. I want the entire post to appear within the column. Each column = different post.
I have downloaded the insert page plugin and have used it to insert a particular post. If I insert in a text box in a single row, it works fine when I preview/publish

As soon as I create columns with the text box and the same insert page short code then the content in preview/publish is mashed together, each one in a skinny column. The proportions are all wrong.
Basically how can I please insert posts into columns on a page and have them displaying the content proportionally. I tried the post grid element but it compressed information and gives a read more link.
I can send images if it helps.
    Thanks

    Thank you!
