Inserting posts into a page

  Hi All,

  I’ve just joined wordpress and started my blog. I’ve organised my content into six pages which is great. And I’ve also got some categories which is fine.
  What I want to know is how I can insert a post into one of my pages? I would like readers to be able to click on a page at the top of the blog and then see all the posts I’ve listed under it but I can’t seem to figure it out.

  You cannot put posts into pages. Pages are static and sit outside the blog structure and are meant for content that seldom, if ever changes such as an about page. See here for more on the differences between posts and pages.

  With wordpress, you organize your posts by using categories. Then you can put the categories widget into the sidebar so that people can click on them and get listings of only the posts in that category, or if your theme has a top navigation menu, you can use the custom menu feature and put the categories on the top navigation.
