Instagram links are broken on some browsers

Something has happened in the past couple of months and IG links are shown to be broken on my page on some browsers. This happens on my laptop chrome and firefox, but not cellphone chrome. Safari works fine. I’m linking to IG because WP doesn’t allow me to upload videos that take up too much space. What has changed on WP and how can I fix this?

What is the URL of the site you are referring to?
I do not see any sites connected to the account you are contacting us from. Is it a WordPress.com hosted site?

I checked your site and it appears you’re in the wrong forum. Your site is using the open source WordPress.org software and you need to seek help at these forums:

I would also reach out to the plugin developer of that plugin and report this issue. It has been reported quite a bit lately, so you’re not the only one being affected.

Thank you for your thorough response. My apologies. This is the first time I’ve had an issue with WP and didn’t know the difference. WordPress.org seems quite hard to navigate and get support. Do you happen to know which plugin is used for that? I’ll reach out to the developer.

Okay, let’s start over here – it’s not a plugin. I actually am able to see the instagram posts on your site without issue on Chrome, Safari, and Firefox on OSX.
This sounds like it may be a cache issue. Have you tried logging in using a different browser or clearing your browser’s cache?

Now what to do about those visiting the site with the same problem—I guess I could post something that says if you have difficulty viewing this, please empty your cache. This wasn’t a problem a few months ago and I’m wondering what’s changed…

Are there many of your viewers having trouble viewing the posts? Yeah, there have been some IG related issues on WordPress over the last several week for many people. Hopefully, this will be sorted out soon. In the meantime, I agree that a short message regarding clearing cache would help.
