Instagram links perfect in Preview and just dead text after publishing

  Instagram links are regularly added to our site. In preview, they seem to come up ok and after publishing they look ok as well, but then eventually the links die and don’t render – just plain text.

  We’re adding the links correctly as per here but the problem persists. https://wordpress.org/support/topic/embedding-instagram-in-wp/

  Any thoughts/help?

  On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.
