Instagram widget not updating itself.

  Hi there. My instagram widget is not updating itself. It’s been displaying the same photos on my website for the past 7 months and it’s starting to really bug me. I tried doing a few things. 1) I linked the instagram widget to a different instagram account and it works – displaying my newest instagram photos, and 2) if I change my instagram username, it works as well. BUT – my original instagram username doesn’t display my newest instagram photos and I don’t want to change my username. Has anyone experienced this and/or have a solution? Thanks.

  You have a self hosted WordPress.org site, which is connected to your WordPress.com account with the Jetpack plugin.

  We are only able to help with WordPress.com sites on these forums. However, support for self hosted site is available here:

  You may also want to:

  • Contact the plugin author to see if they are able to offer you some advice
  • Contact your hosting provider (Bluehost) to check it’s not a caching issue
