Install Maintenance Mode plugin?

    I really wanted to install the WP Maintenance Mode plugin and frankly i got kind of angry when i realized that i wasn’t able to install plugins on my site. I’ve used WordPress.org on my own self-hosted portfolio site once, and when i decided to start a blog i quickly agreed with myself that WordPress was the best service.
    Maybe i should have thought twice, cause paying 99$ a year for limited content. That doesn’t seam fair. And i get the whole big difference between wp.org /wp.com and that it’s a different product. But then at least a feature like the Maintenance Mode plugin should be included as one of the standard plugins you can use at a wp.com site.

    I am sorry to hear that WordPress.com didn’t work out for you. But to be honest, it won’t work out for every single person or project out there. What’s what so great about having the different .com and .org options.

    It looks like a refund has been processed for your upgrade purchase. I will assume that the issue is closed unless I hear otherwise from you.
