Install Old Site

    Hey all,

    A client of mine has taken their wordpress site down and I need to get some content from their old wordpress site.

    They have taken a copy of all the files and I have them in my possession. I was wondering if it is possible to re-install the wordpress site from these files?

    Probably – depends on the files you have how hard it will be and if you can recover the whole site – HOWEVER – you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software your client was probably using – this forum is for support only for sites on WordPress.COM
