  I just install word press and Im trying to link it with a domain that I own in host gator but I cant get access to the builder

  To link a self-hosted WordPress site like that to your WordPress.com account, you’ll need to use the Jetpack plugin: https://jetpack.com/support/getting-started-with-jetpack/
