installing blogroll widget

  I have spent an hour or more on this without success. Forums have failed to offer explicit instructions and been closed for further comment.

  PLEASE – exactly what does one do to install a blogroll? All I see is WordPress’s list of topics with no provision for entering my own site URL’s.

  You can add a Blogroll (Links) widget following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/links-widget/

  Thanks for the speedy assistance, WordPress, I have now finally got a blogroll installed. Might I make a suggestion – think about inserting a hot link in the Help Pages to the Add Links tab on the Dashboard – since the latter can be a bit of a jungle for newcomers, especially when they are being blitzed with information about widgets, links, categories, drop-down menus etc. Sensory overload!
