Actually, it was NOT answered a half hour ago. I purchased the theme from studiopress. Which, clearly states all of the instructions on how to upload it to wordpress, with pictures. When I log in to do such I am not seeing the button required. Could anyone else offer helpful advice.

You can upload it to a wordpress.ORG self-hosted installation on a third-party hosting service such as bluehost, dreamhost, etc. You cannot upload it at wordpress.COM though. The “Pro” upgrade is just a bundle of upgrades for your site here at worpdress.com. It does not take away any of the restrictions we have here.
We cannot add themes at wordpress.COM. We are limited to the 150+ (and growing) themes found in the dashboard under appearance > themes. Themes found on the internet are for self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG.
The differences between wordpress.com and wordpress.org (self-hosted) sites.

That first thread answered it in the first reply.

I’m sorry, but themes can’t be uploaded to WordPress.com. That’s a feature of self-hosted blogs through WordPress.org.
Buying a “pro” upgrade (which is a misnomer in my opinion) does not change the fact you are still hosted at WordPress.COM.
