On WordPress.com we install and set up your WordPress site for you, but it sound like you would prefer to instead set up a self-hosted websites, which are sites that you create on a “traditional web host” like Bluehost, GoDaddy, etc.
It is not possible to manually install WordPress on WordPress.com (we are not a “web host” in the same way as other companies are) but If you are looking for a good web host for your self-hosted site, we recommend the following providers, who all offer easy-to-use wizards to help you get your first WordPress site set up and running:
