Integration of WordPress account with existing Domain Name Provider

  Hi, I downloaded and installed WordPress application and started an account, but later discovered that my current host/domain name provider (Dotster) already has WordPress integration. They advised me that I should only install WordPress through their control panel, but I want to know if it’s possible to retroactively connect my existing WordPress profile with my existing domain.

  To add to the above, if I install WordPress through Dotster, does that new action steer me toward creating another (possibly duplicate) account with WordPress?
