Integration with Firebase

    Hello,

    We have a mobile app on top of firestore DB. We would like to migrate our Drupal website to wordpress.com but we need to understand how we could integrate. On our mobile app we have user profiles with many sections/block info etc…

    On wordpress side, the user entity can’t be extended and if we use a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/profile-builder/ it is OK from functionality point of view but the point is that we would like once something changes on Firestore this change to be propagated on wordpress. We have checked your REST API and it covets only the ‘native’ user fields…. extyra fields of the new plugin won’t be possible to be updated wia your REST API…

    There is any alternative so to achieve what we want ? apart from real time updates we can also evaluate batch updates once a day… for example via SFTP to upload the new profile info from Firestore to wordpres but then how we could update the wordpress DB based on the file shared vis SFTP ?
