Invitation not sent, the user has blocked invite emails

  I am getting “Invitation not sent, the user has blocked invite emails.” when adding “aysegulozzcan” as an administrator to my blog.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Will you confirm the username you are referring to please? If you already have their email address then you do Staff help. You can email them and ask them to remove that blocking. tell them to go here https://wordpress.com/settings/subs-delivery/ and Uncheck the ‘block emails’ box at the bottom and update.

  Okay but the bottom line is the bottom line and as you already have the email address you can email that person and tell them how to remove the blocking, because Staff are not going to overrule any setting that person chose to make and change it, without them posting here to say that they want to do that.

  Timethief is correct here. In order to add this user, you’ll need to ask them to stop blocking emails from us. We can not override their settings.

  Alright. I took a look at the settings again and I sent aysegulozzcan an invite to my test site testsjr1.wordpress.com. Everything seems to have gone through. Can you please try again on your end gulenbuyukbayram?

  To confirm, you’re putting the username aysegulozzcan into the invite box? and not some other email address?
